Which is the best Windows Automation scripting language?

I have tried AutoHotKey, maybe it's just me but I found it's syntax to be pretty messy. And then I head about AutoIt is great automation program. Are there any better ones which I haven't heard of?

Well powershell is good for automating and it's inbuilt not like autoit but the only problem is it does not have gui unless you use assemblies for that
