How to weight in full-text search?

What sort of weight is placed on the history of your company for the Chomp / Apple search algorithm?

We are seeing some strange anomolies with our ios apps, and we are thinking that the algorithm weights the success of your portfolio of apps over time as one of the ranking factors for keywords and search terms. IE We registered our account with apple in 2010 but left it dormant for 2 years. We released one bad app that go barely any installs. Now we are releasing higher quality apps, and we are seeing results that seem to be telling us that the 'history' of the company is weighting negatively vs other companies who have just recently registered companies and launched similar apps with the same keywords.

History : your previous produced quality/value/authority for the Appstore. If your history isn't that great with old apps, you don't get the preferred spots for your current apps.
