Is there a way to retrieve text messages after they have been deleted from a Blackberry?
-
They weren't deleted by the phone's owner, but apparently the phone does not keep them after 30 days. Are there any apps that can retrieve them, or settings? Going forward, are there any apps that help save them?

Answer:
The answer depends on the settings of your BES in regards to email, but text messages are not typically stored on the BES. The content of text messages are not normally stored by the carrier either. So generally, once you delete them they are gone for good. My BB Bold had settings that allowed me to auto-delete content after a certain date but I never worried about that for texts as I tend to email anything important from a text to myself so it gets added to my email archive.
