How good are colleges like SIIB, TAPMI, Narsee Monjee Bangalore, KJ Somaiya and Goa institute of Management? Is it worth it to pursue MBA from these colleges after having 2 years of job experience? CAT/XAT/CMAT cutoff for these colleges? Avg salary package of these colleges?

I wrote some mock cats this year but inspite of some preparation dint score well(around 50 percentile) so i am not targetting IIMs and XLRI. I have 85 % marks in 10,73% in 12th and 70 % in BE and i have 2 years of job experience in IT

Short answer: YES but then again, it totally depends on a lot of other factors. Just ask yourself whether you want to pass out these institutes, or maybe try harder next year and possibly get into one of the top colleges. Since you've asked about avg. placements, i assume you are doing an MBA for money. For someone graduating from top engineering colleges such as IITs and NITs, joining such institutes doesn't make much sense as the avg. placements for these colleges are lesser.But a person from a lesser known college however might end up getting a better job. The average placements at all these institutes is under 10 LPA. I am not sure of exact figures though. Personally, I'd suggest you try harder next year, get a 95+ percentile, and get into one of the IIMs(95 is enough for newer IIMs and some old ones; only ABC need 99+) Your 10,12 and BE marks are quite decent, and will definitely not cause any problems (except for maybe IIM A and B). You'll end up getting a much better job from an IIM.
