Where is the most common place on an AC system would leak on a 2000 Chevy cavalier the shaft seal or a o-ring somewhere in the line i have checked everywhere but do not see any oil discharge anywhere?

Most often it's the shaft seal. Put in a little dye in the AC system next time you refill it. You can purchase 134A with UV dye and regular colored dye. Run the system for a little while then check to see where it is leaking. If you use the UV dye, you'll need a UV light, but they aren't terribly expensive.
