    While you cannot directly connect your laptop to a Mac Mini as you can a traditional display, you can activate the share screen feature on a Mac laptop to use your laptop as a monitor for your Mac Mini. This screen sharing feature will allow you to both view and control your Mini directly from your laptop. Difficulty: Easy Instructions Click the "Finder" icon located on the left side of the Mac laptop's dock. Click the right facing triangle to the left of the "Shared" subsection. Select your Mac Mini. Your Mac laptop and your Mac Mini must share a connection on the same network for your Mac Mini to appear in this subsection. Click the "Share Screen" button. Enter a username and password associated with your Mac Mini and click the "Connect" button. Your Mac Mini's display will appear as a window on your Mac laptop.
