After taking morning after pill two weeks period but you were due to h ave another period on Christmas day but ihave not started?

my g/f just got off from birth control and missed her period for 2 weeks, so im like uh-oh. anyhow we talked to her gyno and he said birth control pill type or shot type (didnt ask about patches) can upset a period by 2-3 weeks but it usually gets back on rythem in a month or so. hope that helps
