How might clock synchronization work with RSA SecurID tokens?

Help me find a digital time clock solution for work!

• Help me find a digital time clock solution for work. Snowflakey details inside.. Is there an industry standard for computerized time clocks that are not the old paper card "punch in" "punch out" thing that has been around forever? My boss has come to me asking for help finding some sort of computerized time clock system for employees to clock in and out when they arrive and leave work. He does not want a handwritten or paper card system. Snowflakes: - Should be a real clock and not an application on a PC - Has to work at 5 or 6 remote locations (all have Internet access) for ~50 employees - Should be robust and durable - these are sites where the workers do a lot of work where their hands can get dirty, oily, glue, solvents on them. The clock(s) have to be able to withstand this kind of daily wear that you probably don't see in an office environment. - Hopefully will upload the data either to a website or send files to a server for accounting office to work with. - FOB's are ok, but nothing the employee has to wear that might easily get dropped, lost or otherwise be a hazard around machinery (no lanyards) - Bonus points for system that can be programmed to show weekends and after-hours times as overtime. So far the only system I've found that meet some of these requirements is uAttend. Does anyone have experience with it and / or other recommendations. Thanks MeFi'ers!

  You can use key cards, but instead of having the worker keep them, they can be stored in a rack mounted on the wall, just like paper cards.
