What are some good blogs/sites that are like kottke.org?

  • I love reading sites like kottke.org and Neatorama (and, of course, Metafilter). It's exciting - I never know what I'll come across next. What are some other sites that have lots of interesting stuff, preferably on a daily basis (but less often is fine as long as the content is high quality)? I already read Reddit, and I'm not interested in similar link-voting sites. I'm looking for sites that are edited by a group of people (or blogs), with well-written but concise articles. I also like programming-oriented blogs (like Coding Horror), productivity (Lifehacker, 43 Folders, Zen Habits), and I subscribe to a bunch of feeds from NYTimes and The Economist. I generally love the design-related posts on kottke.org the most. If you have any favorite blogs/sites in these areas, please send them my way! Thanks!

Nice mix of news, interesting, and weird. http://daringfireball.net/ leans heavily towards Apple-related matters but Gruber also writes good general interest posts and does link posts.
