How To Create A Wap Site For Free?

help me create my site!

  • help me get my Web site up and running through Verio... Hi - I'm new to Web sites and have never put one up. I have registered my domain name with verio and paid for hosting through verio too. I have the Windows Basic hosting package. Their "easy site" creator looks handy, but it's pretty limited. In fact, It doesn't even let me change their cheesy graphics. I'd like to create my own site using a program or templates I can find online. Can anyone take me through the basic steps of how to do this? I sell antiques, and the site would have a main page and then links off to several categories of items that would contain photos, descriptions and prices. Is there a good site that will guide me through the creation of a site? Once I do that, what do I do? How do I upload the site I've created to Verio to get it running? Man, i know nothing!!!     Hire a starving college student to (a) make you something simple and (b) show you how to change/maintain it. One day's work making and one day's work teaching will buy a month's ramen noodles for someone who needs it, you'll save a mountain of your own time and money, and you'll have a better result.

I threw something really simple together for http://www.joeandgemma.co.uk/using http://pages.google.com. Its massively basic and simple to use - so you won't want to be trying to do anything other a company name, contact details and few pages of info. You're still restricted to templates which are pretty much immovable, but to be honest if you're at this level of expertise then maybe those restrictions are going to be a help to you. Like a lot of people are going to say, if you're at the stage where you're looking for a quick and simple way of doing it but you already know that a templated approach is going to be too simple *and* you know that you're technical knowledge is not up to scratch, then for me it's either: a) HTML evening courses b) Hire a Young Punk Neither needs to be expensive, and both are probably going to be more rewarding in the long run!
