What are some good games for 2 players?

Two players, one iPhone. What games are good?

  • Can you recommend some good casual two-player games for the iPhone? Ideally, it would be something at which two players can take turns by passing the phone back and forth. Ideally ideally, it would be co-operative instead of competitive (players competing together against the computer is fine). Ideally ideally ideally, it would also be free, but I'm perfectly willing to pay if it's worth it. Thank you!

    Wurdle is the first thing that popped into my head. I know my SO and I have wasted away many lines and waiting for tables with a few rounds of 5 minutes wurdle. Like boggle, but somehow more fun.

I've played the Scrabble game while waiting for a table at a restaurant. There were 4 of us so I dunno if you can have a computer opponent in the mix too. But we found it enjoyable, even as people who only play Scrabble about once a year.

My friends and I play dice games using MachDice. There are tons of games you can play and MachDice will do any combination of dice. They are all relatively simple so it's good for casual playing. Example: "Threes" - roll 5 six sided dice, goal is to get the lowest score. You can roll multiple times but you have to keep at least one die per roll. 3's are worth zero.
