What are some good remixes of pop songs?

  • Where can I find a list or database of song remixes? Im a DJ and Im looking for different versions of songs but its often very hard to find these. I usually look up popular music in the usual places like billboard and different chart sites. But how do I know what remixes a song has, like this "Sweet Child of Mine" remix I heard of a girl singing a sort of pop-techno version. Is there any site or database out there that might help me search and find these remixes? Any good sites on where to find good music or that might help any DJ are also welcome.

You like covers? Look grab a copy of Tom Middleton's "http://www.discogs.com/release/502236" double album. eBay is your friend. Just search for the tracks you want. There are thousands of DJ promo singles within arms reach. That is where I get most of the pop-dance remixes that I spin at the club. If you have a bit more money to spend, then I recommend joining one of the many remix services like Promo Only or Ultimix. They release exclusive club mixes of the latest Billboard top 40 as well as other niche genres.
