Where can you print posters?

Where can I find alcohol-related images that I can print onto posters?

  • 4 or so years ago, Bacardi let people download poster size images of advertising online, and I used to print them out to be 5 feet tall by 4 feet wide. Where can I find bacardi (or alcohol related) images that can be printed into posters?

  • Answer:

Did they pay you to do this?

Apparently we've been added to the alcohol-related target groups due to Miguel's recent suggestion that we're all alcoholics.

Interrobang: No, it was free. Quonsar, please limit comments to answers or help in finding an answer. Wisecracks don't help people find answers. Thanks.

Keyser: my question was serious. I wasn't trying to troll the thread; I just can't understand why anyone would want to use their own resources to produce an advertisement.

interrobang

interrobang-- well, i'd do this for some ads--for instance the camel girl ads from the early 90's--because i liked the design or the photograph and because the "ad" elements (e.g., the name of the product or the logo) are minimal in the image. people routinely use ads from the art noveau period or from the nifty fifties to decorate and the art noveau posters (at least) are often shown in museums as Art. while i haven't seen a recent ad that i'd consider art, some are really interesting to look at and i can understand why someone would want to use his own resources to reproduce an ad. (sorry, keyser, i have no answer for you)

crush-onastick

(no answer either, but last year my partner contacted a local paint company to get copies of some of their ads as a surprise present for my birthday - one is now mounted and waiting to be hung on the kitchen wall (it's a fairly large poster, so will cover much of the wall)). you don't have to hate something just because it's an ad. just as you don't have to take post shots at someone on ask mefi just because it's keyser soze...

Keyser, doesn't it seem obvious to ASK BACARDI? or GOOGLE for images? Please, please, please try to exercise better judgment in your posting. Think hard for yourself before asking others to do your thinking for you.
