What would be the best solar powered lights to use?

Where to Find the Smallest Christmas Lights

  • Where can I find tiny Christmas lights on the web? These are not LEDs, nor are they battery powered. They are about the size of a rice grain (hobbiests use individual lights about this size that they call "grain of wheat" lights,) The string has about thirty or so lights and plugs into 110 volt AC. the individual lamps are permanently attached to the wires. I found them last year in multi-color and in red, blue or green. I am looking for the multi-colored and the blue. Any help will be appreciated.

  • Answer:

12th scale dolls house miniatures. I don't know of an exact supplier, though. Ebay? They're also called grain of rice bulbs.

The generic term for what you're seeking is "rice lights" (yes, I know this post is eponysterical)

I did a search on "dollhouse miniatures" and "lights" and hit on a whole bunch of eBay offerings (duly filtered by my employer) and http://www.dollhouseminiatures.com/electric/christmas.htm.
