I'm not trying to come off as unabashedly self-promotional, but this is an opportunity to share my site with you. http://DIYFilmSchool.net has a ton of great resources available to its visitors (and those pages continue to grow!), plus articles and interviews by filmmaking veterans who have inside information that you simply won't get in film school. Check out the Board about it on this site: https://diyfilmschoolsite.quora.com (I posted an answer to a similar question there) Make http://DIYFilmSchool.net a place you visit frequently while you look for an online course.

As with so many things, there is no replacement for first-hand experience. Websites and online schools can help you get a jump on some of what to expect, but the real learning definitely happens when producing a real film, even small 5-minute ones with a 4-man crew and no budget.

Well there are lot of resources on internet about learning filmmaking but first you have to decide which department of filmmaking you want to learn. In general director and screenwriter are referred as filmmakers. Other technical departments such as camera and editing are too technical to learn on internet. But you can always learn basics online. I am a filmmaker with more than 27 international awards/nominations and I am teaching more than 1000 students how to learn filmmaking. I am also teaching them how to promote your film and approach influential people within the industry and thats also for free. If you are really interested in learning filmmaking I suggest you to visit http://www.bhushanmahadani.com Thank you for your time
