What faculty to chose between electrical engineering and computer science?

Is Computer Science considered Engineering at Concordia?

• We know that Engineering and Computer Science are in the same faculty, some people also say that CS is considered Engineering in Canada (might not be true). So the question is, does a computer science graduate be considered an engineer or not?

  Concordia's Computer Science degree is obtained not from an engineering faculty but form the Faculty of Engineering & Computer Science and, within that faculty, from the Department of Computer Science & Software Engineering. The two are taught as related disciplines, but computer science is not presented as a subcategory of engineering. A list of accredited engineering programs in Canada may be found at Engineers Canada: http://engineerscanada.ca/e/pr_programs1.cfm For Concordia, this includes the degrees in Computer Engineering and Software Engineering, but not in Computer Science. Computer Science is, in most Canadian universities, part of the same faculty as Mathematics — usually a Science faculty, not an Engineering faculty. At the University of Waterloo it is part of the Faculty of Mathematics. So yeah, CS is not in fact considered engineering in Canada. The confusion may have arisen because many engineering schools in Canada offer degrees in computer engineering and/or software engineering.
