Sales reports: For a B2B enterprise start-up - What do you expect to be in sales report from an outside sales representative and how frequently this report should be provided?

    Everyday!  Name, Designation, Company Name, address, phone no. of prospective customers met today, which one is interested (details of purchase request), what are the probable reason for the ones not interested.

Once you know your goals you can then start thinking about what you want to report on. As for frequency, I do agree with but make sure you're not wasting to much time on your reporting.
