How to find business partners?

Startups in Israel: Where do uber-geeks go to find business partners and where do business men go to find uber-geek partners? (in IL)

• I'm looking for a business partner/co-founder but most of my friends are uber-geeks and most of their friends are uber-geeks... and never the twain shall meet.

  This placement of people in boxes of uber-geeks or 'business' people doesn't really work in that context I think. If you start a company, regardless of how you see yourself, you will be doing "Business". Yes you might be technical and you might build an amazing app etc. But in the end you'll find you are going around doing the rounds with your co founder/s. You might not do it because you want to, but you will definitely do it because you have to, simply because nobody will evangelize your company better than you. Of course, this disclaimer must be added: this is a generalization for dramatic effect, and some exceptions to the rules may apply, batteries not included, keep out of reach of children, not a floatation device.
