What is the Fidelio system used in hotels?

What contests can I hold for hoteliers to get them to engage with my hotel management system product?

  • I run India's leading Hotel Management Software which is used by over 4,000 hotels but it's only used by 100 hotels on a regular basis. I need contest or any other engagement ideas that'll bring back to the software. Any and all ideas are welcome!

    I'm puzzled. Hotel management systems are a kind of all or nothing deal. It makes no sense to run multiple systems to perform the same tasks. Not only is effort duplicated, but with two data stores, there is the certainty of data corruption, duplication and inconsistency. So how can your system be used by 4 000 hotels but only 100 on a regular basis? Sounds more like 3 900 hotels have tried it and didn't proceed. To bump up the acceptance rate, you don't need to offer enticements so much as study the competing products, identify their shortcomings and address them. That way, when a hotel trials your software, you have solutions to their problems, and they ditch the old junk in favour of your you-beaut system. Alternatively, offer free accommodation at your house and pick the brains of any managers who take you up on it. Chain those puppies to an analyst and start cutting code!

Let me break down the anatomy of this question : You have a product. You have(hopefully) put in your heart and soul into building it. You have a problem with it now.
