How to update Garmin Nuvi 200?

Hello, I want to buy a garmin at USA with map and traffic lifetime update (I will be at USA next month) but I will use it in brazil. I already have brazil map (the downloadable one) because i already have a nuvi 1340. Will I have lifetime update for it?

• Using the one of Brazil I already have or buying it again will I have lifetime update for it since my new device has lifetime update for map?

  Hi Mauricio, 1) The downloadable map you already bought for your nuvi 1340 is tied to that particular device, so it can't be used with any other device. 2) The lifetime map that comes bundled with any nuvi covers only the region that was preloaded.  If you buy your nuvi in the USA, that region will be North America. 3) Good news:  it looks like there is a lifetime map product for South America: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=98711&pvID=98988  This would work with a nuvi bought in the USA, although depending on the model you might have to remove the North America map to clear enough room for the South America map. 4) There is no traffic service in South America...here are the available regions: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=268
