How do you ask a question on Wiki answers?

Why does the Answer Wiki disable the "Ask to Answer" function?

I just posted a question and then started an Answer Wiki to list a few of the answers I gathered from other sources. The "Ask to Answer" widget disappeared. It reappears if I delete the wiki. Bug or feature?

Answer wikis should only be added to summarise a selection of clear answers or when there is a definitive answer to be put there. Once one has been added there is little need to keep asking people to answer, the chances are you'd be wasting your credits, as any new answers would already capture what is in the wiki. The feature is still there if you wish to use it, at the bottom next to the 'Add answer' link.
