If I had an item shipped to me via USPS, and entered wrong address, can I go to the local post office and have them send to correct address?
-
Item was shipped internationally, I entered the wrong house number but correct street, like a half mile up the road. If I went in to the local PO will they watch for the package and correctly deliver it?
-
Answer:
It would be a bit hard to change the address once the item is already shipped. However, you can still call your local PO and ask for the item to be watched before it is actually delivered to the wrong address. If you contact him when it's too late and the item gets delivered, it would depend, if the recipient would return it.
