Can biro ink on your skin cause ink poisoning?
-
My friend always draw stuff on her arm or leg or hip or whatever with biro or a BIC pen. I've told her not to, but she keeps drawing on herself. Is this dangerous? Could it cause ink poisoning or skin cancer?
-
Answer:
Ink biro on your skin can not cause ink poisoning, but it can cause skin irritation and possible infection in sensitive skin. This is primarily because manufacturing of pens is regulated in all countries. The writings on the hands can be removed by rubbing alcohol on them.
