Why do my eyes itch when I wear colored contacts?

  • I wear colored contacts because I go for photo shoots occasionally but when I wear them, my eyes feel irritated! I clean them after every use so it isn't because they're dirty . it's annoying to wear them and have the urge to want to take them out 10 minutes later :( help!

    It's normal my friend and I are in a death note cosplay group and we need colored contacts for our parts they should feel strange for at least 10 mins before your comfortable with them on.

There are several different kinds of contacts, some more moist than others. I have worn contacts for years, but my vanity has shrunk and my desire for comfort grown. Try some different types and see if you can find on that is more comfortable. It's not because they are dirty, it's probably because they are dry (I'm not an expert so I'm not sure.) Keep them moist (keep a little bottle of wetting solution in your pocket) and that will help also.
