How much does a trip to Paris, France cost all together for two or three weeks? For a pretty moderate hotel? or should I get an apartment?

my friend and I want to stay there for three weeks after our first or second year of college. we're both fourteen now, and I want to start saving because we really might go together:) by then we'll be nineteen or twenty and I really want to start saving now. I'm not bringing a car, maybe renting. should I stay in a moderate hotel, or a moderate apartment? I'm thinking apartment. Maybe we'll stay in Paris for three weeks and Monte Carlo for one week. Hopefully we save enough money over the next five or six years, so maybe if we can, we'll stay another week in Monte Carlo. please help! Does anyone know how much three weeks and food and all other stuff like that would cost. please help!:)
