Is it possible to transfer from a CSU to another CSU after one semester?

I am currently a freshman at California State University, Monterey Bay and it's just not what it coped up to be for me.. I am looking into transferring closer to home (which would be Sacramento State University) and I was wondering if that was possible after one semester? Do the units I finish this semester transfer to Sacramento State if It is..? And when should I start the application process if it is possible to transfer? Thanks for the help!!

Possible, but some CSU's are highly " impacted " ( there word, not mine ) and might not let you. CSU San Francisco, for instance. Check with your consular.
