Furthermore the difference between Pure Silver and Sterling Silver is that Sterling Silver consists of a composition of 925 parts pure silver with 75 parts of copper. This makes Sterling Silver slightly cheaper than pure Silver. It also helps to make the ring more resistant to scratching or bending.
