What is more important in airsoft, range or FPS?

What airsoft gun should i get that has around 500 fps (.12 g), 900 rounds per minute, and a range close to 100 yards? thanks

    I have an AEG electric semi and full auto colt M4 that can shoots up to 490-550 FPS with .20g bbs and 520-600 FPS with .12g, aprx. 920-950 RPMs, bought it from airsoftmegastore.com, it cost me $449.99 USD, it's really heavy, and you might want to wear a heavy layer vest if you're going to test it for yourself, because that thing is really sting for a really really long times
