If you recieve a summons and it has your personal information on (ex.ssn#), is that information given by the person or court?
-
The father of my son is taking me to court for custody/visitation. I received my summons the other day, my personal information like name, address, dob, phone and ssn# is on the summons. I am wanting to know if this information was provided by the father or the court puts my information on the summons. I am needing to know this bc if the father has my ssn # I know he's sister that works for Social Services has given him my personal information.

I know in my state, FLA, The courts dont have your social nor do they ask for it. It has been about 6 years since I had to go to court with my ex though. I dont remember if it is asked for on a financial forms but still thats something YOU fill out. Good luck! :)

Courts do not handle that much detail about a person. Mostly deals with any criminal records. The information on your summons must have been provided by the father of your son and were simply relayed by the court.
