When going down a half pipe how fast are you going?

When plumber laid plumbing he didn't make sure PVC pipe for drier vent or stove vent was going outside of batter boards. So now we have PVC

• Pipe That does not extend past our concrete. We now need to find it. I seem to think there is a drilling tool that we can run inside the pipe and drill out through to the outside. Hubby has run a camera down but we cannot identify what we're running into and the second pipe has water in it. We are not going to start digging up concrete. So any ideas what we can do or if that tool exists and what it is called. Thank you!!!

  There are some plumbing companies that use an acoustic locator for finding leaks in pressurized water pipes under concrete slabs. I had a copper water pipe rupture beneath the slab and they pinpointed the location within ten min. If you contact one that has the instruments you can introduce a sound generator (a beeping tone would be best) into the PVC pipe via the camera type flexible cable and they can tell you exactly where the line will be accessible from the outside. The plumber should be able to make the penetration and connect to it. an alternative would be to redirect the dryer vent up the inside of the wall and vent below the roof line to the outside with a vent cap/ flapper.
