How can I make friends in a new state?

I am so afraid of how to make new friends when i move in a whole intire new state what should i do?

  • i lived in a very small town for practically my whole life. But out of everyone out of my school thinks im the shy smart pretty girl and goody two shoes. i Tend to make people that were coming into our school welcome but i never moved and im living in a small town were everyone knows each other. i will never in my life change my personality for anyone but i just have no idea as to what to do cause i never moved especially out of state very far from Arizona to Ohio and im moving into a city and everything going to be different there and i living in a small town my whole life is going to be weird. I would love to hear some advice or opinion's from anyone thanks.:)

In my opinion, start small. You have to be social to the people around you first before you decide to take up the big crowds. You can start with your desk mate and that desk mate will introduce you to others and the chain will continue.
