What is a Jehovah witness?

  • I believe in god. I'm at work and some just came into my work and dropped off some brochures. some people were saying that they are pushy. but they didn't seem like it. what exactly do they believe in? why do they go door to door to make people believe? I'm just interested and curious... any other info you guys know would be nice. what's wrong with being a Jehovah witness?

    All I know about them is that they don't celebrate Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, birthdays, etc. but they do celebrate weddings. They are very nice people and are very loyal to their church. some jehova witnesses are more extreme than others there are plenty around here. They are pleasent ppl but ppl think they are pushy because they believ they are held accoutable for everyone they come into contact with. I dont know very much about their beliefs I am actually studying up on it now.
