Is it normal to be scared of middle school on the first day?

Oh boy, I remember my first day in middle school xD. I was nervous and embarrassed because my mom was there and she was the only parent there on the field lol. I'm not saying that she made my day worse, but it was pretty embarrassing because there were some friends(girls) whom i knew from elementary school and she would say "Ay, go talk to her, she looks cute!" and I'd be like "mom stop!" hahaha. Just be yourself and you'll meet someone in a class, it may not be on the first day but give it a week or two :) if you are scared because of your "crooked teeth", girl don't trip! there are people out there who will like you for who you are!:) Good luck :D

Yea it's normal I'm always scared on the first day of school! I'm going into the 8th grade(my last year of middle school)and I'm always scared about who Im going to have in all of my classes!! Even though I'm friends with everyone well...I try to be.. But it's still scary!
