Can I use plaster of Paris to make the mold?

I wondered if I could use the plaster as a mold, let it dry and then use that to make a casting.

Answer:
You can use plaster of Paris to make a mold. The plaster is good because it will hold the mold together and it is soft and this will make the mold look polished. Once you have finished molding, let it dry so that it can be firm.
