What are some innovative airport ideas?

My friend/"brother" is coming home from the military this week. Hoping to meet him at the airport. Any ideas on a way to welcome him back?

  • I'm not sure just yet if I will be able to meet him at the airport this week, but I'd certainly love to! I've not seen him in over 8 months now. If I can go, he won't be expecting me. Any and all ideas are welcome. :)

If he isn't expecting you don't bother. You need to know who you are looking for. The airport is loud, crowded, and big. If you don't expect to see someone, the person may be difficult to recognize in the split second that you see the person, likely at a distance. You put brother in quotation marks so I am not sure if he is really your brother. If he is, you should go with you family, but inform him of your presence in advance. If he isn't your brother, wait until he gets home later. I think that most people would rather see their family first after being away from home for 8 months, but since I don't know him personally, I couldn't say.
