Which is a better seo structure for a nationwide site?

  • Which would get better local ranking if the main URL is targeting a national audience? http://domain.com/state/city/zip/coname/year-make-model-unique#.php or http://domain.com/state/city/zip/coname/year/make/model/unique#.php or http://domain.com/coname/year-make-model-unique#.php Obviously the pages would have local & somewhat unique content. Some companies will have 10 or more of the same year/make/model, so a unique identifier is needed in the URL. but similar companies in other cities and states will also have the same product. Trying to get the best national & local SEO possible on one URL

    i agree with Emirhan, Its not about the URL as much as the content and external metrics pointing to the URL. Do some testing, find out how users are searching. Do they search by state, or city, or zipcode, or none of those. I would only add 1 of those into the URL. Personally I would make the URL shorter to help with user recall, click through from the search engines, and for social sharing.

Google does not care about the levels of deepness in your folder structure for a page's value, unlike Bing. In addition, adding "-" to your url makes sure that your page will be indexed with year, make and model info. Make sure that you'll add valuable info to your page's content rather than just leaving it at your URL.
