How do you convert an Android project to a maven project manually?

What could be a good project on android/web design for B.Tech final year?

• I am B.Tech final year student . This year I have to take major project. I don't want to take a project which I don't like. Also professors won't listen to me if I say that I want to develop an application unless I explain them that it's a research topic . So I was suggested that for UI and other designing fields you should go for android as it will fulfill the thirst of design. So could any one suggest any good project on android or any other thing which includes designing/UI. It can be a web project also.

  Since this is your graduation project, do it with upmost care as it can highlight your profile really well and can take you places. If you're interested in Android, make a simple app that you can sell conceptually with your college target and can ease in your professor's vote. For example, a to-do list app (make it very well designed -- follow Android's UI guidelines) and you can find many design templates as well (I'll not recommend templates but you can focus your energy on writing the project submission instead. Let's say, a to-do app for your professors and classmates to use. Flow: Both your prof and fellow classmates install the app. At the end of every lecture, the Prof can put in a to-do (assignment) for the class. Every student gets that notification of new assignment. (If they have a phone or if many don't, make a tiny web app for this) Next day, when the assignment is submitted, the prof can see which students have submitted or not and can put a score against it. Little competitive nature of this app will nurture good competition and encouragement. Further, you can assign badges etc. you get the idea. Hope this is useful.
