What's the best way to track visitors' shopping cart items in ExpressionEngine?
-
Is it by utilizing 'flash data' [http://expressionengine.com/user_guide/development/usage/session.html%5D or is there another EE class that'd be useful for this purpose? We only need to track shopping cart contents (add/delete) for any given visitor - the checkout process is handled externally (outside of EE) by passing the shopping cart data in a URL (with parameters).

Answer:
Use CartThrob - it's an amazing product. http://www.cartthrob.com (You don't need to use CTs checkout process if you don't want to)
