How can I change the Google search engine from google.cn to google.com on my safari without jailbreaking my iPhone?
-
I bought my iPhone in mainland China, and I use Chinese most of the time. As I set the region to China, safari will use http://google.cn as the default search engine, and it'll switch to http://google.com.hk everytime you start a searching, which you need to click one more time for the results every time. Is there a method to change it to http://google.com without jailbreaking my phone?
-
Answer:
Use the "No Country Redirect" url for google http://www.google.com/ncr This will take you to http://google.com without all the local search results. Make the /ncr url your home page on safari.
