How do you 'check-in' somewhere on Facebook?

Is there a benefit to linking additional social networks to Localmind, beyond the one you use for location checkin?

  • For example, if I only use FourSquare for location checkin, why would I want to link my Facebook and Twitter accounts?

    Great question! As long as you connect your preferred check-in service (Foursquare in your case), there isn't a tremendous amount of value in connecting to the other services...yet. Twitter and Facebook are going to become increasingly important over the next couple of months in sharing your contributions and accomplishments with your friends, so I'd recommend connecting those up as well at some point.
