Signage/Graphic Designers?

What would you ask a panel of amazing designers?

  • It just so happens that the Designers & Startups event in San Francisco has 6 top designers on a panel to share their insights, techniques, experiences, and thoughts on design. There are over 100 designers going, and you can participate too! Simply leave a comment with a question(s) that you'd like to ask the design panel. Ryan Ford, previously at deviantART as creative director, now at PivotShare as lead designer. Danny Trinh whose work is legendary in the valley as the product designer at Path. Sebastiaan De With is an icon. Ironically, one of the best icon designers. He previously worked at Apple, HP and Mozilla. Jason Culbertson is an entrepreneur, strategist and creative director at Yammer. Victor Mathieux is co-founder at Everest and fittingly, they're both rising stars in the design and startup world. Garrett Gee is a designer and founder of Scan, the most successful QR code scanning application. Go for it! :)

  • Answer:

Once you have been working on a product for awhile, it's easy to lose sight of your initial goals and design direction. However, it's also important to adapt and grow the product organically. How do you make sure you balance this, and how do you check yourself to make sure you're not straying too far?
