How can I stop seeing re-targeted ads?
-
I don't want to get rid of all my cookies each time I visit a site that uses re-targeting ads. I also don't want to disable all personalized ads - just the re-targeted ones. I hate being followed around everywhere by the same ads after having visited a site (, .. I'm looking at you). Is there a setting that lets me disable those?

Answer:
Disable 3rd party cookies from your browser's settings. Almost all re-targeting is based on 3rd party cookies. For example instructions for Chrome: http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95647
