What formula in MS Excel will check two email fields for content and if both are empty create a unique fake email in a new field based on name fields?
-
Are any of my friends Excel experts? So I am trying to check column S1 (work email), L1 (home email) to see if they contain data and ultimately fill another column in this order with either the value of S1, value of L1 or create a unique fake using values from name columns to fill the new column. I have come close to getting this to work, but am stuck. Any suggestions?

Answer:
=IF(S1<>"",S1,IF(L1<>"",L1,A1&B1&"@http://domain.com")) amend A1 and B1 according to columns in which you have the names. You can put everything in lower case by using lower function so it would look like this: =LOWER(IF(...))
