How to get rid of old TVs?

Will old Apple TVs get the new features announced today?

    Sorry but NO. Apple have deprecated Apple TV 1st Generation... but.... My suggestion is: Install XBMC on it, your old Apple tv will become a real media center, it will sync  efortless, with all the videos on you PC, Linux or Mac, without using  itunes or converting the video files to the apple Mp4 format, you will  be able to stream DivX, and other formats, also adding some plugins to  XMBC, you will have live streaming channels, and hundreds (or thousands)  of sources of video content, some legal, some other not so... even  adult movies, for give you an example... All the features of your Appletv remains there, just you will have new applications on the menu, and when you run those... belive me, you will renew your love for this deprecated device... And some people sold it for $45!!! I want to buy more to install XBMC and sell it again to my coleagues and friends... Regards Miguel Rabi
