How do I generate barcode using c#?

How does one generate a barcode to be used on plastic packing?

  • for example in a new business where you will pack your product, how can i generate a barcode to give to the printer company to add it with the design of the package?

It all depends how these barcodes are going to be used. If your products are sold in the USA in major retail stores they will want you to have a GS1 barcode which you can get from http://www.gs1.org  However, if your retailer does not need that, then you can come up with whatever sku you want (any number or combination of numbers and letters) and use an ean 128 format or code 39. Most inventory systems and accounting systems can read these. The retailer may want you to use THEIR barcode scheme so you need to be sure to ask that first.
