Conversion (marketing): What are effective ways to convert page views of a website into money with less effort?

• I have a website developed in .Net 2.0 technology which gets about 500 visits per day on average. Right now I just have 2 google adsense ads in the site. These are getting little money but not much. What else I can do to maximize the chances of earning more through my site with less effort?
