How do i calculate preferred dividend?

How do I calculate the dividend per share on my stocks?

  • If the company which I hold the stocks declares a final dividend of 25% how much would I get per share?

  • Answer:

You need to figure out what that 25% is of.  Dividend yield is the percent payout based on the stock of the price, but 25% would be  very high dividend yield.  Therefore, it probably isn't this. It could be 25% of the free cash flow or profit.  In either of those cases just take 25% of that amount. My advice to solve this problem: Call Investor Relations.  They should be happy to answer this type of question.
