What actions Google take if we provide them list of unnatural links?

  • In the recent message from Google about unnatural links/violating Google's guidelines, there's a line as "If you find unnatural links to your site that you are unable to control or remove, please provide the details in your reconsideration request." For this, does anyone having idea about what steps Google will take if we provide them list of unnatural links that are out of control? Has this been experienced by anyone here? Please let me know.

  • Answer:

It is unlikely this will result in anything positive - Google expects you to actually try and remove the links. You can do this by hand or use a tool (http://removeem.com, http://rmoov.com, or http://seogadget.co.uk)

Russ is right! It might turn unpleasant to you. There are a lot of services and tools which find and remove all those bad unnatural links. For example, you culd use this one: http://www.linkdelete.com. Or you could consider some new services as they seem to be much more improved. For instance http://www.linkquidator.com a tool that'll offer a free trial package. It's up to you.

They will review your submission and potential not count those links in your link profile.  But there is no guarantee they will respond
