Is the SAGE the accountant software recognised in Canada?

Which are the most useful and most internationally recognised project management qualifications for software development and IT infrastructure projects?

• While we are an agile software development house, our UK clients look for PRINCE2 as a recognised project management qualification for inclusion of bid documents. We are now branching out internationally (India, Europe, South America, Australia) and training up more project managers, but we see PRINCE2 as rather parochial so we are looking for alternatives that are both useful and recognised.
