What is the version management?

Any recommendations for Creative Version Control / Digital Asset Management software?

  • I've got a fast growing organization with roughly 20 creative suite users (and counting). All those creative revisions are crushing our file system. I've got to get something in place to mandate some version control standards. Most of the recommendations I've gotten so far are for .GIT or GitHub, which are more for code than creative files, although there seem to be some bolt-on front ends that could work. Adobe no longer supports VersionCue. Has anyone tackled this issue recently? Could really use some advice.
